Company founder Adam Rice is a second-generation builder with more than 20 years experience in commercial construction and custom home building. As both a licensed General Contractor and a skilled, hands-on craftsman, Adam’s comprehensive experience within the building industry gives him a better understanding of all aspects of his projects.
This enables him to choreograph large construction projects from start to finish. We deliver superior quality on every aspect of the project, right down to the smallest detail — whether that be our signature exterior coverings, timber works, or fine interior finishes.
Furthermore, Adam’s long-standing relationships with area suppliers and tradesmen assist him in delivering the highest quality of service, on-time and within budget.
NLHNC has the expertise to deliver superior quality and great value for money. As well as turn-key projects, the company also handles projects such as grading, infrastructure development, foundation and retaining wall construction, septic system installation, and framing — all in-house.
Adam, an Indiana native, studied Construction Technology at Purdue University, and moved to North Carolina in the 1990s. He lives in Blowing Rock with his wife, Elizabeth and their two children, Isaac and Eli.
